Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of web development principles and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining websites that align with our brand identity and meet the needs of our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and SCSS.
- Develop and customize websites based on WordPress, conduct backend coding with PHP and implement AJAX interactive functions to optimize webpage interactivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional web designs.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create engaging graphics and layouts, deliver standard UI design schemes and optimize overall user experience with professional UI/UX capabilities.
- Implement analytics tools to track website performance and user engagement.
- Conduct data analysis to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
- Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Work with SharePoint for content management and website updates.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in web design and development, including WordPress ecosystem, UI/UX design and enterprise ERP related digital tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience in web design or a related field, showcasing a strong portfolio of completed UI/UX design and web development projects.
- Hands-on WordPress development experience; proficient in PHP coding language and AJAX technology.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SCSS, and web development frameworks such as Node.js is preferred.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic design tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to enhance website functionality.
- Experience with SharePoint is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce plugin operation and secondary development is a plus.
- Relevant working experience with ERP system inventory module is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
