Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing visually compelling designs with a focus on product packaging, brand identity, and promotional video content. This role requires a strong foundation in physical design, typography, and motion graphics, with the ability to translate marketing concepts into high-impact visual assets. The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with marketing and products teams to produce high-quality graphics that enhance our brand presence across retail and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Packaging Design: Conceptualize and execute creative packaging designs, including structure, labeling, and die-line preparation, ensuring brand consistency and shelf appeal.
- Branding & Logo Design: Develop and refine branding elements, including logo design, style guides, and brand collateral that communicate our company identity.
- Motion Graphics & Video: Produce engaging 2D/3D animations, video edits, and visual effects for marketing campaigns and holiday promotions.
- Marketing Collateral: Design high-quality promotional materials, including print advertising, point-of-sale (POS) displays, digital banners, and social media graphics.
- Visual Storytelling: Assist in photography editing and photo manipulation to create cohesive visual narratives for promotional use.
- Production Readiness: Prepare final files for print production, ensuring accuracy in color management (CMYK/Pantone), bleed, and print specifications.
- Brand Stewardship: Manage typography, color systems, and graphic standards to ensure absolute consistency across all physical and digital marketing assets.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 5+ years proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio specifically demonstrating skills in packaging design, branding/logo development, and motion graphics/video editing.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard software, specifically the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro).
- Design Fundamentals: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and spatial layout, with the ability to apply these concepts effectively to packaging and print formats.
- Motion Skills: Proficiency in 2D/3D animation and video editing for short-form marketing content.
- Production Knowledge: Familiarity with printing processes, die-lines, and production material specifications.
- Communication: Excellent presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate creative concepts to clients or team members.
- Workflow: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
- Innovation: A keen eye for detail and a passion for staying updated on the latest design trends in retail, packaging, and digital advertising.
