Warehouse Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of goods and materials within our warehouse environment. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to operate various warehouse equipment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and order pickers to move materials throughout the facility.
• Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring that items are prepared for shipment or distribution.
• Assist with shipping and receiving functions, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock locations.
• Collaborate with team members to build pallets for shipping and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picking processes is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to maintaining safety standards within the warehouse.
• Proof of a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
